Message through them though. We're talking about the compressor side of the turbo (AKA cold side) Obviously the cold side is still going to be subject to heat because of other components in proximity, but the compressor side shouldnt breach that kind of temps.

If that were true (heat issue), you'd be melting those rubber couplers that attach the inlet tubes to the turbo, all of the time
